One 2 Five Energy is a software based program for senior managers which takes a business approach to energy management and examines how energy is integrated with your business management systems. One 2 Five Energy is not a technical tool; rather it focuses on management systems and is designed for use by managers. One 2 Five is geared toward those companies that spend € 300,000 per year or more on energy.

The diagnostics workshop lasts for about 2 hours. Top management is brought on board for the diagnostics workshop and a structured process is followed. The diagnostics workshop identifies how well energy is managed within an organisation and further identifies opportunities to improve the business systems to achieve energy cost savings.

The areas covered in the diagnostics workshop are: leadership, understanding, planning, people, financial management, supply management, operations & maintenance, plant & equipment, monitoring & reporting and achievement.

The key features include:

	A focus on management issues rather than technical issues
	The opportunity to discuss issues within an organisation and gain a consensus on future action
	A critical review of current practices to help identify areas that require attention
	The identification of the top 5 critical actions to be addressed first.

Once the diagnostics is completed the findings are discussed and it is determined how to address the priority actions. The diagnostic results are benchmarked and a final report is produced. Your company is rated on a scale of one to five and follow up sessions are recommended to identify the progress in energy management.
